If you wish to run for an officer position the Ingham County Democratic Party, please note: You must be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party for at least thirty (30) days prior to the December 18th election, unless you are a precinct delegate or partisan candidate. You must also reside in Ingham County.
Please refer to our bylaws for the duties of each office you seek.
Your information will be forwarded to the County Committee, who elect the officers at the meeting (as per the bylaws of the Ingham County Democratic Party, Article III, Section 4. Clause A: "The County Committee shall elect the officers of the IDCP and fill such vacancies as may occur.”).
Completing this questionnaire is not a requirement to run for office; it is a way to let the County Committee know more about your interest and experience before the elections.
