Voter Protection/ Poll Challenger Trainingusing the 2025 Fall Elections to gain experience for Nov 2026 Virtual Training & Optional In-Person Follow-Up If you are interested in being part of the Voter Protection Team to observe and report issues at Early Voting, Election Day, and at absentee ballot tabulating sites. Voter Protection is now more than just Election Day, with 9 Days of Early Voting, thousands of mail-in ballots being tabulated up to a week before the Election, and precincts in operation on Election Day. Therefore, the ICDP Voter Protection Committee is collaborating with the Michigan Democratic Party to offer this year an opportunity for individuals to receive training, support, and scheduling as Democratic Party Poll Challengers. If you want to be part of the Voter Protection Team in FALL 2026, please click below and let the ICDP know. Those who sign up will be invited to a virtual training session and an in-person follow-up meeting on October 24 to address any questions that may arise. These sessions are not a requirement to volunteer in 2026, but we believe that they would make you a more effective poll challenger, especially for those who have never done it before or only once in 2024. |
