Precinct delegates is one of our points of contact in every community. It is the active precinct delegate who can help win close elections for Democratic Party candidates. Precinct delegates serve as a bridge between the Democrats in your neighborhood and the Democratic Party.  Find out more by attending the training session or filling out the interest form.

The purposes of the MDP's 2026 Endorsement Convention shall be to endorse Democratic candidates to the November General Election in the following contests:

• Secretary of State,
• Attorney General,
• State Supreme Court,
• State Board of Education,
• Michigan State University Board of Trustees,
• Wayne State University Board of Governors, and
• University of Michigan Board of Regents.

Volunteer to staff the front desk and answer phones!

Shifts are only 2 1/2 hours long,
9:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday

The office is at 606 Townsend, Lansing, with free parking.
