Call for Notaries for Precinct Delegate FormsPrecinct Delegate Forms need to be signed in front of a notary. If we want to reach our goal of having over 100 precinct delegates in Ingham County and at least one in every precinct, it would be helpful to have at least one notary available at our upcoming meetings, conventions, and other events. The process to become a notary takes several weeks and requires submitting paperwork to the Ingham County Clerk and the State Office of the Great Seal, so we need to act soon to maximize our value before the May 5th Precinct Delegate Filing deadline. ICDP will reimburse you for any fees and for the bond. |

Political Party or Campaign Organization Roles Training
Tuesday, February 10 8 – 9pm EST
RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/contest-every-race/event/892374/ and email us [email protected] to let us know that you are attending.
Join Contest Every Race for a free training focused on building a strong, supported leadership team in your organization. Together, we’ll explore three key roles that help local parties thrive: Communications lead, Volunteer lead, and Fundraising lead. We’ll talk about what these roles look like in practice, why they matter, and how having the right people in place can set your organization up for success as we head toward the 2026 elections. This session is a chance to learn, ask questions, and think intentionally about how your team can work together in ways that feel sustainable and empowering. We’ll also walk through how these roles connect to the CER grants program and actions, and how CER is diving deeper into individual support of each of your leaders through new roles and actions. Everyone from your organization is welcome to attend. You don’t have to be the chair or main CER contact. In fact, this is a great opportunity to invite your full Executive Board so you can collectively decide who is excited and best positioned to step into these roles. |
