This is a follow-up to our initial meeting with Mason-area Dems to prepare for the 2026 Election, determine next steps to recruit and support local candidates, and provide ground support for state and federal candidates and proposals. There are many ways to achieve these goals, depending on interests, skill sets, and determination. 

This meeting is for those who live in or are interested in helping organize in the City of Mason and the surrounding townships of Aurelius, Alaiedon, Vevay, and other parts of the Mason School District.

The purposes of the MDP's 2026 Endorsement Convention shall be to endorse Democratic candidates to the November General Election in the following contests:

• Secretary of State,
• Attorney General,
• State Supreme Court,
• State Board of Education,
• Michigan State University Board of Trustees,
• Wayne State University Board of Governors, and
• University of Michigan Board of Regents.

Shifts are only 2 1/2 hours long,
9:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday

The office is at 606 Townsend, Lansing, with free parking.
